Position Summary: 
Plan, direct, and implement all aspects of annual campaign activities for Yachad Israel.  
 
Esential Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Create, develop and implement annual campaign with quantifiable goals, strategies and measurable outcomes.  
  • Plan and organize annual fundraising activities including Jerusalem marathon or asimilar program, year-end giving day effort and new outreach events such as parlor meetings, “friend-raisers”, face to face solicitations and other programs aimed at expanding the reach of Yachad Israel. 
  • Responsible for researching, identifying and submitting proposals to Foundations and Government grants.  
  • Develop and implement strategies to significantly expand and build a pipeline of major donors.
  • Cultivate, steward and solicit prospective donors through face-to-face solicitations. Two meetings per week on average with donors/prospects is expected.   
  •  Work along with the Director to market the region and create an environment which boosts Yachad’s visibility and creates a culture of giving within Israel.   
  • In tandem with the Director, work towards building a local board to assist in all aspects of growing the chapter.  
 
Qualifications: 
  •  Minimum of 7 years work experience in significant development role.  
  •  Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing an annual campaign strategy.  
  •  Proven experience in cultivating and soliciting five figure donors.  
  •  Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to work independently.  
  •  Ability to work well within a team structure. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and writing skills.  
  •  Ability to understand and speak Hebrew is essential. 
  •  Knowledge of the Israel community is essential and understanding of the inner workings of Government grants is helpful.   
 
Salary commensurate with experience.
