About Us

Jewish Union Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Community Habilitation and Respite Supervisor. This role is a full-time, in-office position based in Brooklyn, with minimal travel

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the organization of data collection, attendance and billing functions
  • Collecting and organizing routine paperwork
  • Developing and manintaing relationships with Individuals, their families and Care Managers
  • Direct supervision of DSP staff
  • Filling additional DSP roles 
  • Ensure attendance and data is properly collected for Com Hab and Respite services and reviewed for billing
  • Review goals, attend LP meetings, and complete follow up paperwork including signing Life plans and updating Staff Action Plans
  • Connecting with Care Managers, schools and families with purposes of increases respite and com hab supports and ser

  • Effective Communicator

  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to work in various locations throughout the day
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Driver’s License
  • Strong reading and writing skills
  • Growth Oriented

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with OPWDD services
  • Supervision Experience
     

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $60,000, commensurate with experience.
