Organizational Summary:
Yachad Summer Programs is the largest provider of summer programming for individuals with disabilities. With 25+ programs across the U.S., Canada, and Israel, Yachad Summer offers essential integration and social opportunities for Jewish children, teens, and adults with disabilities — enabling them to enjoy a meaningful summer camp experience alongside their mainstream peers.
Position Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator, Summer Programs is responsible for organizing and coordinating the operations and administrative procedures of the Yachad Summer department to ensure overall effectiveness and efficiency. This role includes supporting full-time summer staff, managing communication channels, supervising office staff and interns, and maintaining accurate records. The Administrative Coordinator must be highly organized, personable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain daily office operations and procedures for the Summer Programs department.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the summer phone line.
Manage multiple email inboxes, including two major departmental inboxes and a personal inbox.
Provide outstanding customer service to families, staff, and program partners.
Coordinate and manage the summer staff contract process.
Collaborate and liaise with other departments within the agency as needed.
Prepare documents, reports, and mass email communications.
Conduct oneself professionally and uphold a high standard of customer service in all interactions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Availability for occasional late nights and travel as needed.
Required attendance at one weekend conference annually.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $42,000 and $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
