About the role
This position is as much about now as it is the future; NCSY is growing in scope and mission. In order to meet the needs for community engagement, the right people will need to be placed across the United States, Canada, Israel, Chile, and Argentina. Currently, there is a need to place the right educators and community professionals in NCSY areas across the organization.

You will build and fuel a thriving Jewish community within your area of focus through relationships and high caliber experiences and events. Those that are invited to learn and grow in the Jewish spaces you create will emerge more connected, inspired, and empowered in their awareness and commitment to Torah, Mitzvot, and Judaism.

Responsibilities
Relationships
● Build and maintain safe, healthy, and positive social and educational relationships with high school aged youth
● Service broader community engagement with NCSY through attending and participating in community opportunities, such as initiatives, conferences, and events

Experiences and Programs
● Design, plan, and run informal and formal educational experiences from the NCSY
playbook (JSU, Latte N Learn, Shabbatons, Summer Programs, 1 on 1 learning, family
learning, social experiences)
● Adapt NCSY’s programmatic playbook and/or create new experiences based on strategy and community needs

Operations and Administration
● Create and implement strategy in partnership with team/manager
● Source, market to, and recruit participants
● Record all event data in Iceberg database
● Submit expenses within two weeks
● Attend team meetings

Qualifications
● Passionate and knowledgeable about Judaism
● Prior successful experiences with professional or informal education required
● Professional educational qualifications preferred, such as religious ordination, Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline
● Prior experience working as a professional in Jewish communal institutions is preferred
● Demonstrated experience working in time sensitive and self motivated environment
