POSITION SUMMARY: Implement a variety of Fundraising & programmatic events ensuring all logistics & details are properly coordinated. Events may include Giving Day, dinners, parlor meetings, color runs, family shabbatons, conferences, etc.

Assist department with administrative tasks related to fundraising system.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Work alongside Director of Special Events to implement a variety of fundraising and programmatic events.

· Oversee all logistical details of events.

· Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors.

· Works in collaboration with regional fundraisers to assist with local events.

· Ensure development team has all lists as needed and update donor information as needed into Velocity (fundraising system).

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Two-three years of previous event planning experience.

· Ability to take direction and then work independently to ensure success of event.

· Proficient in Microsoft and comfort with fundraising system.

· Experience working in a collaborative environment, bringing different departments together.
