The Administrative Assistant is chiefly tasked to provide high-level administrative support by handling phone calls and written correspondence with OU Advocacy constituents. S/he is responsible for information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and webinars, and scheduling meetings. The Administrative Assistant must be someone who is responsible; detail oriented, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.


The specific duties for which this position is responsible are:

  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing administrativefunctions
  • Oversees database system
  • General recordkeeping and billing
  • Responsible for all office equipment – purchasing and maintaining
  • Assists Executive Director in general PR and event initiatives
  • Serves a primary office liaison to State Regional Offices
