Palm Beach Field Director Job Description

The Palm Beach Field Director will:

  • Grow Teach Florida’s activist and ambassador network through meeting and developing schools parents, synagogue members, Century Village residents, condo associations and senior & community centers
  • Conduct voter registration activities in above mentioned areas
  • Develop and manage volunteers to register voters, assist in voter communications and get out the vote strategies and events
  • Engage Palm Beach constituents in action alerts, rallies and other advocacy activities
  • Represent Teach Florida at various school and community events and forums
  • Manage and create systematic content for social media and communications with their networks
  • Build up and manage social media reach and email lists
  • Manage and perfect Teach Florida lists and databases for Palm Beach
  • Assist in execution of all Teach Florida events including annual Legislative Breakfast

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Be well-organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people of all ages
  • Strong social media skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work and stay poised under pressure;
  • Committed to Jewish day school education, fair government funding of nonpublic schools and activism
