Summary: Intern to assist with contacting regional vendors and distributors of food to gather pricing and product information for kosher food pantries to utilize for procurement. Additionally, locating freight prices and delivery time frames to various locations for the regional products. All information gathered will be added to a master data spreadsheet for comparison by region based on the distributor’s information. The goal of this position will help to find cost efficient routes for food pantries to receive nutritious low cost products.

Essential Functions:
– Perform general office duties
– Data entry
– Emailing and calling vendors
– Database Management

Job Qualifications:
– Understanding of Excel
– Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
– Willing to learn
– Ability to speak others and convey information effectively

Work Schedule:
Part time in office 2x a week
