Vocational Coordinator

Position Summary:

Jewish Union Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Vocational Coordinator position. This position will be responsible for managing the Employment Training Program. This position is full- time and is based in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities Include:

Overseeing vocational services (ETP)
Responsible for finding appropriate job placements
Responsible for managing discovery reports; including tracking allowable, observing individuals in different settings, reviewing paperwork
Keeping up to date with billing, policies, and regulations through OPWDD
Completing monthly reports and presenting in monthly meetings
Creating and monitoring individual’s goals and progress
Coordinating job coaches’ schedules
Communicating with job coaches, state representatives and families

Qualifications Requirements:

Experience working with individuals with disabilities
Effective Communicator
Flexibility
Organized and detail-oriented
Willingness to work in various locations throughout the day
Strong problem-solving skills
Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with OPWDD services

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000.
