Position Summary:

Jewish Union Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Vocational Coordinator position. This position will be responsible for managing the Employment Training Program. This position is full- time and is based in Brooklyn.  


Responsibilities Include: 

  • Overseeing vocational services (ETP) 
  • Responsible for finding appropriate job placements 
  • Responsible for managing discovery reports; including tracking allowable, observing individuals in different settings, reviewing paperwork 
  • Keeping up to date with billing, policies, and regulations through OPWDD 
  • Completing monthly reports and presenting in monthly meetings 
  • Creating and monitoring individual’s goals and progress 
  • Coordinating job coaches’ schedules 
  • Communicating with job coaches, state representatives and families 


Qualifications Requirements:   

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities 
  • Effective Communicator  
  • Flexibility 
  • Organized and detail-oriented 
  • Willingness to work in various locations throughout the day 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Driver’s License 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with OPWDD services

Salary and Benefits: 
The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000.
