Vocational Coordinator
Position Summary:
Jewish Union Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Vocational Coordinator position. This position will be responsible for managing the Employment Training Program. This position is full- time and is based in Brooklyn.
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing vocational services (ETP)
- Responsible for finding appropriate job placements
- Responsible for managing discovery reports; including tracking allowable, observing individuals in different settings, reviewing paperwork
- Keeping up to date with billing, policies, and regulations through OPWDD
- Completing monthly reports and presenting in monthly meetings
- Creating and monitoring individual’s goals and progress
- Coordinating job coaches’ schedules
- Communicating with job coaches, state representatives and families
Qualifications Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Effective Communicator
- Flexibility
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Willingness to work in various locations throughout the day
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OPWDD services
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000.
