About Us:

The Orthodox Union (OU) is the largest Orthodox Jewish organization in the United States. Founded in 1898, the OU supports a network of synagogues, youth programs, Jewish and Religious Zionist advocacy programs, programs for the disabled, localized religious study programs, and international units. The OU maintains a kosher certification service, whose circled U symbol, Ⓤ, is found on the labels of many kosher commercial and consumer food products.

What You Will Do:

The Audio/Visual Communications Fellow will assist the Senior Engineer of Digital and Streaming Media in the following projects:

Filming/recording organizational and departmental events.
Reviewing audio and visual footage.
Using computer software to organize clips into a cohesive unit.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS required or comparable experience
Filming and video editing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well within a team
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail a must
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written communication as appropriate

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this Fellowship is $40,000.
